Sophomore Derik Auchstetter posted a medalist round of 41 to lead the NP boys golf team to victory. Carter Pals from Central Springs also posted a 41 but Auchstetter took top honors thru the tiebreaker. The meet held Thursday, April 25 in Manly at Pioneer Town and Country Club saw the team post their season best team score on the way to the victory. Backing up Auchstetter was freshman Trey Nelson who carded a 44, his season best. Shane Hillesheim and Max Hillegas posted a 50 and 51 respectively to give the Huskies their 186 total. Second place in the meet went to Central Springs with a 191. Newman Catholic totaled 209 for third and Riceville a 237. Other scores for NP were Drew Moine with a 54 and Drew Rodruck with a 63.
