The Silver Cord Program was introduced and implemented during the 2014-15 school year.
Rationale: Leadership is a multi-faceted and important characteristic we want to promote at Nashua-Plainfield. We believe service is an under emphasized aspect of leadership. As such, we want to encourage students to lead by example through volunteer service. The Silver Cord Program is an established avenue toward accomplishing this objective which we believe, when implemented well, would benefit Nashua-Plainfield Schools and the broader community.
